Saif Ali Khan opted out of Karan Johar's latest project.
Saif Ali Khan 02

Saif did not want to play any character that linked him in anyway to gay phenomenon and wanted to keep his masculine image intact (perhaps… for Bengali bombshell Bips…no?). But John Abraham has no problem in playing such character and has lapped up the offer from Karan Johar camp to play the role with gay overtones.
As a source reveals, ‘ Saif Ali Khan opted out of Karan’s film only because his role required him to play a man pretending to be gay. His role is similar to that of John Ritter in the American sitcom- Three’s Company, where his character has to pretend to be gay so that his prudish landlord permits him to live with female flat mates.’
