Ganesh's first choice was Govinda for Swami:

Bollywood star Govinda was the first choice for Ganesh Acharya's film Swami.

Govinda rejected his offer because he did not want to do serious films after his films RADHA KA SANGAM and NASEEB. Later Ganesh signed Manoj Bajpai replacing Govinda.

According to me the film wouldn't be a hit if Govinda plays a role in Swami, he is a comedy actor and he cant act serious roles.
