After her Nishabd opposite Amitabh Bachchan, she is consisdered to play a leading role in the remake of the Tamil movie Gazni.


This role was first offered to Ayesha Takia which she denied and then Priyanka and Kangana were also approached, but none of them agreed.


This movie is the remake of the Tamil superhit movie 'Gazni'.The film has the tamil actress Asin, Amir's first heroine who is killed by some gangsters. Amir Khan plays a role of amnesiac,after he gets hurt when fighting to save Asin. Then he gains back his memory with the help of a medical student(Jiah), with whose help he takes revenge with his lover's killers.

The movie is directed by A Murugadoss ,who directed the Tamil movie.The shooting has already begun.

The name for the hindi remake had not yet been finalised.

Lets wait and watch ,whether Jiah will make her comeback in this movie, who has kept a low profile after the movie Nishabd!!!!!!
